Katy joined Back in Motion because of their commitment to excellent patient care through a full hour treatment session. Katy strives to provide that excellent care by adding ‘tools to her toolbox’ through continuing education coursework. With a diverse variety of tools, she hopes to reach each patient with just the right ones to get their ‘machine’ back up and running. Some of her tools include; Jones Institute Strain and Conterstrain, Fascial Counterstrain, Postural Restoration Institute (Myokinematic Restoration, Postural Respiration, and Pelvic Restoration), Total Motion Release (TMR) and TMR for infants, tots and teens, Upledger Institute: Craniosacral Therapy, Barral Institute Techniques, and Maitland Spinal and Peripheral. She is interested in sports of all kinds and is currently studying Tae Kwon Do, hoping to be able to keep up with her husband and 2 active boys!
