Emily earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The University of Lynchburg and her Bachelor's in Exercise Physiology from Lynchburg College. Following graduation, Emily moved to Massachusetts working in Outpatient Orthopedics before joining Back in Motion in August 2022.
Her experience playing collegiate soccer and volunteering as a Physical Therapist with the US National Amputee Soccer Team drove her clinical interests in orthopedic, sports medicine, and amputee rehabilitation. She specifically enjoys treating conditions of the shoulder and lower extremities.
Emily values Back in Motion's one-on-one treatment style, prioritizing a patient-centered approach, education, and returning patients to their goals.
In her free time, Emily enjoys traveling, running, hiking, camping, and playing soccer.
