Drew Nalls, LPTA

Drew is from Fairfax Station, VA and graduated from Northern Virginia Community College’s Physical Therapy Assistant program. Prior to receiving his license as a PTA, Drew spent 7 years as a personal trainer at Mclean Sport and Health. Through this experience he developed his philosophy that movement is medicine. At Sport and Health, he spent years coaching adults and teenagers through exercise and injury prevention. He loves to incorporate functional strength training into his treatment sessions.

Drew has been employed at Back in Motion Physical Therapy since July 2021. He enjoys treating and motivating patients of all ages and abilities. Drew connects with each of his patients and strives to maximize their potential and guides them to meet and exceed their personal goals.

Orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation is his focus. He uses manual therapy and corrective exercises to improve his patient’s pain and muscle imbalances to maximize their function and performance goals. He worked at Winchester’s Neurological Rehabilitation Center and recently became certified as a Parkinson’s BIG therapist. He enjoys helping those with neurological impairments optimize their function, improve their balance, gait, motor control and confidence so they can return to the activities that are important to them.

In his free time, Drew loves to play basketball, workout and go on long hikes with his dog.
