Julie Huelsman earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2005 from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. Since then she has worked with a diverse group of patients in Seattle, Manhattan, Boston, and now Alexandria. She enjoys incorporating her patient’s individual goals into their program and getting them back to the lives they want to live. She strives to educate her patients on their conditions and on each treatment method chosen to treat each condition; she feels this gives a team approach to healing her patients. She has advanced certification in manual therapy and Parkinson’s treatment. Julie also has an active interest in scar tissue and how it affects pain and function as well as how it affects satisfaction in personal appearance.
