Courtney graduated from Virginia Tech in 2014 with her B.S. in Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise with a focus in Exercise Health Promotion and went on to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University. During her graduate studies, Courtney was awarded the K. Madison Smith Award for Clinical Excellence as nominated by her clinical instructors.
Courtney’s passion for health and wellness began during her undergrad education and her time spent teaching group exercise classes at the gym. She is a Les Mills Certified Body Pump and Body Attack instructor as well as she holds her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) Certification. Courtney is committed to providing excellent quality of care to each patient and she believes the best approach is through a combination of manual therapy and functional exercise. Courtney has taken advanced courses in orthopedic manual therapy through the Virginia Orthopedic Manual Therapy Institute (VOMPTI) as well as in pelvic floor therapy through Herman and Wallace.
In her free time, Courtney enjoys traveling, hiking, exercising and watching hockey and football.
